Background: Situated in Heanor, Derbyshire. Autobond is an international engineering company based in the heart of Derbyshire, Which manufactures a range of high-quality lamination machines, ink jet spot UV, and foiling machines
The Brief: Autobond have recently fitted a new factory roof and commissioned Atlas Aviation provide an Enhanced Site Report on the entire location, this report included a range of visual and video imagery, 2D analysis and calculation, Plant Health, Elevation, and a 3D model with a Digital Surface Model. All work was delivered tailor made and Atlas produced DXF and Tiff files to integrate the 3D mapping with their existing software: Autodesk.
Atlas Aviation was also commissioned by Autobond to carry out Aerial photography and videography for the purpose of promotional and marketing use
How we carried it out: Autobond is located on a business park, the first steps was to check compliance with legislation, once all the relative checks and insurance were in place we got to the location early morning to capture some early morning shots and undertake a visual survey of the area to confirm compliance visually. On the day of shoot it was minus 3 and very cold so we decide to alternate between inside and outside shots, for the promotional shots we wanted to highlight Autobond machinery, factory and capability as there premise is vast and impressive, the team enjoyed learning about the laminating industry alongside the shoot.
